Project Recipe
CARD STOCK DIMENSIONS:
Card base is 1/2 sheet of Whisper White card stock, scored at 4.25 inches, cut at 5.5 inches.
Two pieces of cherry cobbler cut at 4 1/8” X 5 3/8”. One for the front and one for inside.
Whisper white - 4 X 5.25”, inside layer.
Scraps of whisper white, black foil sheet and gold glimmer paper.
STAMP:
Stamp sentiment “Always and Forever” onto the scrap white card stock.
Stamp sentiment on the whisper white inside layer.
Using cherry cobbler ink, stamp 3 flowers over the sentiment for the front (Always and Forever), use second generation ink - stamp off once then stamp.
Stamp envelope - use either the cherry blossom branch or the smaller flower and stamp the flap of your envelope and the lower left corner.
Stamp flowers onto the inside layer, one in the corner and one by the sentiment.
PUNCH and DIE CUT:
Using the stitched oval, die cut the sentiment stamped onto the scrap of white card stock.
Punch two labels using the Pretty Label punch - one out of the black foil and the second out of gold glimmer paper.
CREATE LABEL:
Cut one of the labels in half, glue the one cut in half behind the full label - I like the black label with a sliver of gold.
This is what the back looks like.
Emboss one piece of the cherry cobbler paper using the Parisian Flourish embossing folder.
Your sandwich for embossing machine will be the base, embossing folder with paper in it, and the 3D Embossing Folder.
ASSEMBLE:
Using multi purpose glue to adhere the cherry cobbler embossed layer to the front of the card base.
Adhere the inside whisper white layer to the cherry cobbler inside layer, adhere to inside of card.
Put a small area of SNAIL in the middle of the card to hold metallic thread.
Wrap metallic thread 5 or more times around your hand, adhere to the taped area in messy loops.
Put dimensionals on the label and adhere over the top of the glued area.
Using multi purpose glue to adhere the sentiment on top of the label.
