M elon Mambo and whisper white really make this card pop on the basic black background using the Many Layered Blossoms Dies.
Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 11X4 1/4, score at 5 1/2. Fold and burnish using bone folder to create a crisp folded edge.
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut to 5 1/4 X 4. Adhere to the inside of the card base.
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 5 1/2 X 4 1/4. Set aside
Cut a piece of colored cardstock (for this card I used Melon Mambo) 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 and set aside.
Now cut two pieces of adhesive sheet 5 1/4 X 4.
Carefully peel one side of the adhesive sheet off and apply to white cardstock leaving the backing on. Repeat the same step on your colored card stock.
Now pull the thicker flowered die from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies pack. Cut the die on the colored side of the card stock. Run through the die-cut machine an extra time or two to make sure the dies cut through the extra layers of adhesive.
Now pull the thinner flowered die from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies pack. Cut the die on the white side of the card stock. Run through the die-cut machine an extra time or two to make sure the dies cut through the extra layers of adhesive.
Now line up the white die cut piece over your colored cardstock piece to know where you want to place it. Start to peel the adhesive backing from the bottom or top and adhere the white piece to the colored cardstock.
Next align the piece on your card base to know your placement. Start from the bottom or top and slowly remove the backing and adhere the die-cut to the card base.
