T his simple card was a lot of fun to make! I used clear heat-emboss powder for the outline, then colored in the image with alcohol inks.
Project Recipe
Using Versamark ink, stamp a pineapple image randomly on white cardstock. Apply clear (or white) heat-emboss powder and emboss the card.
Using alcohol ink, or Stampin Blends, color in the pineapples. I used three colors on the body of the pineapple: light pumpkin pie, dark pumpkin pie, and light daffodil delight. I used light old olive and dark old olive for the leaves.
Finally, I finished off with 'splatter' in the white empty spaces using a background stamp from the Swirly Bird stamp set, but you can use any of your favorite you may have on hand.
The card looks great as-is with the colored background, but I added a scrap sheet of daffodil delight. I topped the daffodil delight piece with a piece of vellum dsp. I finished off the card with an aloha die cut and some tropical leaves.
(Please note that some of the images on this card are not Stampin Up products, but the materials are (markers, ink, cardstock, etc.)
