Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 2" x 5" of green, blue, and white large plaid design from Country Club Designer Series Paper
- 2 x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
Place the Garden Green rectangle on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Pick out the small diamonds mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. Place the mask on top of the cardstock so three diamonds are lined up in a row in the bottom left corner of the cardstock. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick tool to poke three holes in the cardstock in the center of the three diamonds.
Tip: If you don't have the Pattern Party Decorative Masks, you can just eyeball the holes. Using the mask helps you get them evenly spaced and straight though.
Pick out one large gold and two small gold brads from the Metallic Brads. Insert the prongs of the large brad through the hole in the center. Fold the prongs flat on the underside of the green rectangle. Insert the prongs of the two small brads through the holes on the left and right. Fold the prongs flat on the underside of the green rectangle.
Adhere the strip of Country Club Designer Series Paper to the top of the green rectangle so about 1/8" of green shows on the top, left, and right edges.
Adhere the Garden Green rectangle with brads and designer paper attached to the 4" x 5-1/4" Night of Navy rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of 3/8" Denim Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted rectangle so it covers the seam between the Garden Green and designer paper pieces. Secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the Night of Navy rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Garden Green card.
Mount the "thank you" or "hello" sentiment image from the Accented Blooms Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the 2" x 3-1/4" strip of white cardstock leaving room to punch it out.
Unlock the Tailored Tag Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide the 2" x 3-1/4" strip of Night of Navy Cardstock into the unlocked Tailored Tag Punch and punch.
Use Paper Snips to cut the Night of Navy punch out in half horizontally.
Adhere the cut pieces of the Night of Navy punch out to the back of the white sentiment punch out so about 1/8" of blue shows on the top and bottom edges.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the right side.
