T his card really pops just using Real Red and white cardstock.
Project Recipe
Cut a white card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4", fold in half, and burnish the edge with your bone folder.
Cut a piece of white cardstock 4" X 5 1/4" and adhere centered on Red card base.
Cut a piece of real red cardstock 5" X 3 3/4". Adhere centered on the white cardstock.
Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 3/4" X 2 1/2" and dry emboss using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Set aside.
Now cut your red & white DSP 4 3/4" X 1 1/2". Take a piece of Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon and wrap at the very top edge of the DSP fasten just on the back with mini glue dots. Now adhere the DSP centered on the bottom part of the Real Red cardstock.
Now adhere the white embossed piece of cardstock up against the DSP centered on the Real Red cardstock. Now use 1 or 2 glue dots to pull up the ribbon to cover the seam between the 2 papers.
Now take your red die-cut shapes and lay them out. Take the white die cuts and lay over the top to see how they fit. Then peel the adhesive backing off of the white die-cut shapes and stick them to the red die-cut shapes. Now adhere the Real Red base of die cut shapes on the white embossed cardstock.
Now cut a tag using the Pretty Pillow Box Dies from white cardstock. Stamp sentiment using Real Red Ink and then you can also stamp snowflakes if you wish off to the sides. Using Stampin' Dimensionals adhere tag centered on the red ribbon.
Tie a red bow using the Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon. Adhere to the left of your tag.
Lastly cut a piece of white cardstock 4" X 5 1/4" and adhere to the inside of your card.
